Almost 100 years old, the 135 Mississippi office complex in San Francisco stands for timeless construction. Originally built in 1927 as a soap factory, the reinforced concrete building has visual highlights such as high ceilings, large window fronts and characteristic steel beams and is therefore in tune with the zeitgeist. When designing the interior, the architects from MBH Architects made a deliberate break from the stringent minimalism of the architecture. Bold tones dominate here, for example in the furniture and wall colors, while suspended ceilings with wooden structures provide a sense of homeliness.
These structures can be found throughout the building and are accentuated by the wave-shaped lighting elements in our Liquid Line series. The up and down of this pendant luminaire, framed in straight wooden beams, resembles a sculpture of light and thus perfectly describes the character of Liquid Line. These luminaires set no limits for designers, but encourage creativity. As a genuine design product, the diversity of this series does not end here. Liquid Line blends seamlessly into the architecture and creates flowing transitions. Thanks to sustainable in-house production, it offers unique flexibility for a harmonious room concept.
