My name is Danny Samuel Karnadi, I am a lighting designer and have been working at Lightnet for nine years.
At that time, I became aware of the job advertisement via a training portal and initially started an apprenticeship as a foreign trade clerk in international sales at Lightnet. In the meantime, I continued to develop my skills in the field of lighting design with the support of Lightnet and studied International Sales at the FOM/TH Cologne while working. After completing my studies and training, I decided to work exclusively in the field of lighting design.

My job is to design lighting concepts and make lighting calculations. The lighting concepts visualise how our luminaires fit into the architecture. Since our luminaires are very flexibly adaptable, I use 3D visualisations to make suggestions to our customers on how they can integrate the luminaires into the buildings. How do the luminaires look in the room? What shape, size and colour suits the interior? With the 3D drawings, customers can often imagine this better than with a 2D view. The lighting calculations show that our luminaires meet the standards, e.g. in the area of illuminance.
I particularly enjoy helping to design projects - when I'm involved in the planning from the beginning and see the result after completion.

I also particularly enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Lightnet. Having a coffee together during the break, playing a game of table football, playing table tennis in the garden in the summer ... We celebrate parties together, there is a fitness room and yoga classes where you can switch off on the yoga mat after work.
