Historic charm meets timeless design The perfect symbiosis of modern lighting and history

As part of the renovation and new construction of the offices of Mérieux Equity Partners in Lyon, France, we were tasked with using our lighting solutions to highlight selected work areas. With our modular Ringo Star Cluster system, which features a sophisticated satin gold finish, we succeeded in highlighting the plastered wall mouldings as well as the antique furniture from the 19th century and giving them a new shine.

The Ringo Star Cluster system was deliberately chosen to create a perfect symbiosis of historical charm and modern design. The luminaires in satin gold blend seamlessly into the renovated rooms and impressively emphasise the historical elements of the 19th century. With the targeted placement of the luminaires, we were able to ensure optimal illumination of the work areas while stylishly emphasising the architectural details and antique pieces of furniture.

This project was a fascinating challenge, which involved preserving the historic fabric of the building while integrating state-of-the-art functionality. Thanks to the excellent collaboration with Elyans, represented by Mathilde Archontaras and Marion Annette, as well as Mérieux Equity Partners, we were able to master this demanding task with flying colours. The meticulous planning and precise execution of all those involved made it possible to create a harmonious and functional working environment that meets the highest standards.

We are delighted that our lighting solutions have helped to cast the new offices of Mérieux Equity Partners in a new light. We would like to thank David Juille and his team at Lightnet France for the great realisation and our project partners Elyans and Mérieux Equity Partners for their trust and excellent cooperation.
