Patrycja, Wojciech & Paulina Sustainability manager
‘Our primary goal is to raise awareness of sustainability’
My name is Patrycja (in the picture on the left) and I am part of the sustainability team at Lightnet. Nature conservation is my great passion, which is why I studied environmental protection in Krakow. Today, as part of the sustainability team at Lightnet, I am particularly committed to renewable solutions and sustainable methods to continuously improve our work. One of my main areas of focus is developing innovative approaches to environmental and climate protection. I am convinced that our strategy at Lightnet plays a central role in positive change. In the sustainability department, we collect important information as a basis for informed decision-making. Our primary goal is to raise awareness of sustainability and provide our employees with comprehensive training.
My name is Wojciech, and since 2010 I have been involved in environmental protection in my free time, particularly in the field of nature conservation. My passion in life is nature, especially birds and large predators. I take part in programmes run by the Polish Society for the Protection of Birds (OTOP) and prepare ornithological reports. I also monitor large predators such as lynx, wolves and bears in the Beskids (Beskid Mały) to better understand their ecology in this part of the Western Carpathians.
I have been working in the sustainability team at Lightnet since March 2023, but I have been associated with the company since 2013 and previously worked in the production area.
My name is Paulina and I have been working as a sustainability specialist at Lightnet since June 2023. Like Patrycja, I studied environmental protection and renewable energy sources at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. After graduating, I gained professional experience in companies that recycle packaging, waste electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators, as well as working as a technical consultant in a company that manufactures heat pumps.
My task, together with my colleagues, is to implement a strategy that combines economic, social and environmental objectives. I want to minimise the plant's negative impact on the environment while promoting its economic development. Together, we are working towards our company's goal of becoming a green company, which will benefit both Lightnet and the environment.

‘Personally, I am motivated by the conviction that sustainable development is the key to the future of our planet. Working to produce environmentally friendly lighting allows me to combine creativity with responsibility. I enjoy introducing sustainable and innovative solutions that reduce energy consumption and minimise waste. It is also inspiring to see how our activities contribute to a better future for generations to come. I want to be part of the change that promotes the responsible use of resources and the protection of our planet." Wojciech
